Nabin, 45, assumed charge on Monday in the presence of BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

His appointment comes at a significant moment for the BJP, which has recently secured a landslide victory in Bihar and is gearing up for a crucial round of Assembly elections in key states, including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Assam.
