West Bengal lacks governance and development: Rajnath Singh

| | Apr 19, 2016, at 01:35 am
Kolkata, Apr 18 (IBNS): Union Home Minister on Monday attacked the West Bengal government and said the state lacks governance and development.

He said the state has not witnessed any development since a political change occurred in 2011 and Mamata Banerjee formed the government by removing the former Left Front rule.

Singh campaigned for the BJP at Bhatapara, Karimpur and Purbasthali in West Bengal.

"West Bengal is yet to witness change on the ground. The state lacks governance and development," Singh wrote on his Facebook page.

"The only industry flourishing in West Bengal is bomb making. The people want a government that can ensure peace and prosperity in the state," he said.
