West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee saddened at the passing away of Dr AP Mukherjee IPS (Rtd.)
Kolkata/UNI: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday expressed her profound grief at the passing away of Dr AP Mukherjee IPS (Rtd.), who was recently awarded Bango Vibhushan Samman.
Taking to her twitter handle, Ms Banerjee said, " Saddened by the passing away of Dr AP Mukherjee IPS (Rtd.), who was recently awarded Bango Vibhushan Samman. "
" He shall be remembered for his service as DG&IGP WB, & then as CBI Director & Governor Mizoram, along with many books he authored, " she added.
" My condolences to his family & friends, " she stated.
