Kolkata/West Medinipur, Aug 13 (IBNS): At least 12 college students were electrocuted, while playing football, at Debra Thana Sahid Kshudiram Smriti Mahavidyalaya's ground in West Medinipur district of West Bengal, reports said.

According to reports, when they were carrying an iron-made goalpost, it touched a high-voltage wire and all twelve pupils were electrocuted.

As the wire was disconnected automatically after the incident, none was killed.

After being rescued, students were rushed to Debra Rural Hospital, where they are being treated.
