WB: 2 minor sisters killed in Birbhum

Kolkata/Birbhum, Jun 16 (IBNS): Two minor sisters were reportedly killed on Thursday night at Mohammad Bazar area in West Bengal's Birbhum district.

According to reports, two sisters, who were studying in Class-IX and Class-VI, were found dead inside their room with deep injuries in their throats.

"Two sisters were reportedly killed at Mohammad Bazar. The murders were committed by cutting their throats with sharp weapon. Their bodies have been sent for post mortem. The killings were probably an outcome of family conflict," one senior official of Birbhum district police told IBNS.

Police have started investigation into the matter and no arrest has been made so far.
