Was not worrying with my father by my side, Alia on threat

Mumbai, Mar 3 (IBNS): Amid death threat from an unidentified person received by filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, his daughter Alia Bhatt said she was not worrying with her father by her side.

"My father and the police are very brave, They took over the entire issue and did not give m e a chance to think upon it.They just took over the matter. I feel everything has been sorted now. With dad by my side, I have nothing to worry about," Alia told reporters.

Mahesh Bhatt had reportedly received a death threat from an unknown caller who even demanded a sum of Rs 50 lakhs from him.

According to media reports, the person even warned that he will harm Alia or Mahesh Bhatt's wife Soni Razdan if the demand was not met.

Mahesh Bhatt had filed a complaint in connection with the matter.

One person has been reportedly arrested over the issue.
