Ramgarh, Jan 28 (IBNS): Voting in Rajasthan's Ramgarh seat, where elections did not take place during the state polls in 2018, is underway, media reports said.

The constituency is witnessing a triangular fight between the Congress, BJP and BSP.

The elections in the seat could not take place in Dec 2018 due to the death of BSP candidate Laxman Singh before the polls.

Last year, Congress emerged winner by bagging 99 out of 199 seats where elections were held. The BJP could win 73 seats in a 200-member assembly.

Following the victory, the Congress appointed its senior leader Ashok Gehlot and state unit chief Sachin Pilot as the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister respectively.
