Guwahati, Sept 19 (IBNS): In an apparent case of moral policing, three minor boys were allegedly beaten up by a group of villager alleging that the boys attempted to steal coconut in Assam’s Hojai district on Thursday.

The incident took place at Changmaji village under Doboka police station.

According to the reports, the boys reportedly attempted to steal a coconut.

A person named Jakir Hussain caught them and tied them along a tree.

The three were critically injured and admitted at a hospital.

The entire video went viral on social media, but the police have not taken any action against the attackers so far.
