Vice President to visit Kolkata on Sunday

Kolkata, Sept 30 (IBNS): Vice President of India M. Hamid Ansari will be coming to Kolkata on Sunday on a two-day visit.

He will take part in two programmes in Kolkata.

The Vice President will be the Chief Guest at the Canonisation celebration of Mother Teresa at the Netaji Indoor Stadium at 5.30 PM on October 2, read a government statement.

The next morning he will deliver the Indira Gandhi Memorial Lecture of the Asiatic Society for the year 2015.

Ansari will depart for Pune on Oct 3 from the city.
