Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu greets nation on Xmas eve

New Delhi, Dec 24 (IBNS): Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu has greeted the people on the eve of Christmas.

In a message, he said that Christmas is a joyous occasion that reminds us of the eternal values of compassion and forgiveness, of love and empathy. 

"We need to constantly keep these values as the guiding starts for us to lead healthy, happy and fulfilled lives," he added.

Following is the text of Vice President’s message:

“I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all our citizens on the auspicious occasion of Christmas - celebration of the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. 
Christmas is a joyous occasion that reminds us of the eternal values of compassion and forgiveness, of love and empathy. We need to constantly keep these values as the guiding stars for us to lead healthy, happy and fulfilled lives. May this festival bring peace, harmony and happiness in our lives.”
