Vice President Ansari condoles the passing away of Ramdas Agrawal

New Delhi, Jan 26 (IBNS): Vice President M. Hamid Ansari, who is also the Chairman of Rajya Sabha, has condoled the passing away of former Rajya Sabha member, Ramdas Agrawal.

In a message, he said that Agrawal was an active parliamentarian and was known for his organizational capabilities and philanthropic pursuits.

Said Vice President Ansari, "I am deeply saddened to learn of the demise of senior BJP leader Shri Ramdas Agrawal.  A three time member of the Rajya Sabha, Shri Agrawal was a stalwart leader and active parliamentarian. I convey my sincere condolences to the bereaved members of the family and join the nation in praying for eternal peace for the departed soul."
