VHP leader asks pro-Hindu groups not to make controversial comments

Ludhiana, Feb 16 (IBNS): Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international president Raghav Reddy on Sunday urged all pro-Hindu groups not to pass any controversial comments which could cause problems to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a smooth functioning, media reports said.

VHP is an affiliate of the Centre’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s ideological mentor Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

“After a long time, a government has been formed at the Centre which is abreast of Hindu culture and faith... Hindu leaders should make balanced statements. Let Modi work...give him some time... he will fulfill the dream of ‘Bhartiyata’ (Indian) in the days to come,” Reddy said at a meeting near Ludhiana in Punjab.

The VHP leader said that Pm Modi was aware of the culture and faith of people in India.
