Uttar Pradesh: Ward boy's body found in Utraula CHC

Balrampur, Jun 14 (UNI) The body of a ward boy was found at Utraula Community Health Center (CHC) in this district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday.

Police sources said the body of Abhishek Tripathi aka Chandan (28), who was posted as a ward boy in the CHC, was found from the staff room of the hospital. The deceased was a resident of Rupaidiha in Bahraich district.

After completing his duty on Thursday night, he had slept in the staff room in the hospital premises. When he did not wake up till late this morning, a worker called out his name, but he did not respond.

Doctors and health workers reached the spot and declared him dead.

Family of the deceased has been informed about the incident and the body has been sent for post-mortem, sources added.
