Uttar Pradesh: Three electrocuted to death in Bareilly

Bareilly, Apr 27 (UNI) A truck driver was among three people, who were killed after coming in contact with electric current in separate incidents in this district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

Police sources here said that two labourers were making a structure of iron rods for an under construction house in Bhamora area, when the iron rod came in contact with an electric wire on top of the house and caught current. Both Bablu (25) and Sanjeev (19) were killed, after coming in contact with the electric current.


In a separate incident, truck driver Mohammad Umar, resident of Partashpur in Izzat Nagar area, was carrying the truck laden with gravel. Meanwhile, the truck hit a high-tension wire and came in contact with the current, leading to on-the-spot death of the driver.
