UP: Two killed as MP's car rams bike in Bareilly

Bareilly, May 22 (UNI) Two people were killed when Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Munquad Ali's convoy's car rammed into a motorcycle at the Bara bypass Lalpur chauraha in the Izzatnagar area of this district in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.

Superintendent of Police (city) Abhinandan Singh said that a 'Fortuner' car hit a motorcycle in the Izzatnagar area, leading to on the spot death of two people who were riding the bike.

The deceased have been identified as Ratnesh (23) and Chandra Pal (40), who were the residents of Bareilly.

According to eyewitnesses, the car which hit the bike was carrying a sticker of BSP MP Munquad Ali and a Lok Sabha pass was also stuck on it.

Police said that the car belongs to the convoy of the BSP MP and its registration is said to being in the name of former MLA Pradeep Chaudhary. This car usually remains with Munquad Ali.

Police have registered a case against the car driver in this matter.
