UP: Four of family killed in Meerut road accident

Meerut, May 13 (UNI) Four members of a family were killed and five others were critically injured when a mini-loader, returning from a marriage function, was hit by an unidentified truck in Kithore area of the district on late Sunday night.

The ill-fated mini-loader, carrying nine people also dashed against a Dial-100 vehicle after it was hit by the truck but no policemen was injured. The accident occurred on the Meerut-Garh road near Bahroda crossing.

The mini-load was returning from Nagli and was going to Vihar Sarai Quazi.

The deceased have been identified as Ajay, Dharamveer, Yash and Suryvansh while the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
