UP: Dalit girl gang raped in Ballia
Ballia: An 18-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by four youths in Nagra area in Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.
Additional Superintendent of Police Durga Prasad Tiwari said the victim, a resident of a village, lodged a complaint against the four on Tuesday night saying that on July 30 night they took her to a secluded place and raped her.
He said two of the accused were said to be relatives of the victim. "All of them are in the age group of 25 to 35 years and have been detained."
