Lucknow/UNI: Uttar Pradesh government and security agencies went into high alert late last night when the Twitter account of the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) was hacked, officials informed on Saturday.

The hackers posted 30 promotional tweets tagging hundreds of users from the CMO's official Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, ADG (Law and order) Prashant Kumar said here on Saturday that a high level probe has been ordered and the culprits would not be spared.
