Under Modi leadership, India got more honour: Yogi Adityanath

Varanasi/UNI: India's pride and honour saw an increase after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed here on Sunday.

The Chief Minister while addressing the centenary celebrations of Jagadguru Vishwaradhya Gurukul at Jangamwadi Math in Kashi here, said Mr Modi's association with the rich tradition of this Gurukul took India's faith to new heights.

Adityanath said that the tradition of holy Shivacharya was very rich.

"It rose above casteism. Today, this tradition is working through the five peeths to strengthen Sanatan Hindu religion," said the CM.

He informed that Modi will release the translation in various languages and mobile app of the holy book Sri Siddhanthashikhamani composed in the 8th century.
