Unclaimed bag triggers bomb scare in Madurai
Madurai, Apr 22 (UNI) Tension prevailed at Kajimar Street after an unclaimed bag, found to be lying near the Kazimar Big Mosque, sparked security scare on Monday night.
On being alerted by the police, senior police officials and the personnel of Tamil Nadu Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) cordoned off the area and evacuated the people from the area.
The BDDS personnel were checking the bag.
