ULFA(I)'s Second-in-Command Dristi Rajkhowa to leave Paresh Baruah

Guwahati, Sept 28 (IBNS): Second-in-Command of United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) Dristi Rajkhowa want to leave the organization.

A top official of Assam police on Wednesday said that, the top leader of the outfit group recently contacted with Meghalaya police and desired his wish.

“Not only Dristi several other leaders and cadres want to leave Paresh Baruah alias Paresh Asom and wish to come main stream,” the police official said.

“Dristi Rajkhowa is the second top leader of the outfit group after Paresh Baruah. Dristi had maintained co-relation with Meghalaya’s outfit group GNLA since long times,” the top police official said.

The top Assam police official said that, in this regards Meghalaya police recently contacted with Assam police.

On the other hand, Paresh Baruah led ULFA(I) has appointed its new General Secretary and Foreign Secretary.

The outfit group has appointed Bhaskar Bora as new General Secretary instead of Anup Chetia and appointed Dr Pranmoy Asom as the new Foreign Secretary instead of Sashadhar Choudhury.
