Two suspected militants killed in Tangmarg encounter in J&K

Srinagar, May 27 (IBNS) Two suspected militants were killed and two army soldiers were injured on Friday in an encounter with security forces in Tangmarg area of Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Earlier, security forces launched a search operation in Tangmarg village Kanchipora, some 40 km from Srinagar summer capital of Kashmir, following information about  presence of two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen in the area.
 
The gun battle started 6 am when the militants were challenged. 
 
During the encounter, two militants were gunned down by the forces while two security personnel received bullet injuries. Both security personnel are out of danger said an army officer.
