The deceased were identified as Golla Venkataramana (42) and Abbadasari Babu Rao (26).

According to Railway SI Chandrasekhr, Golla worked as a driver at the APS RTC and was addicted to liqour.

He left his house telling his wife that he was going to commit suicide, after a quarrel.

Another deceased was a neighbour to Golla. He noted that Golla was running on the railway track to commit suicide and went to save him.

When they were grappling on the track, a speeding train knocked them down fatally.

The bodies were shifted to the government general hospital, the official added.
