Two killed in fresh landslide in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar, Apr 23 (IBNS) Two more persons were killed in a fresh landslide in Arunachal Pradesh early on Saturday, barely 24 hours after 16 people died in a similar disaster, reports said.

Triggered by heavy rain, the landslide took place  at a village named Thongleng, under Lumla in Tawang district.

The massive landslide occurred in the wee hours.

Details of the incident are awaited.

On Wednesday, at least 16 labourers were killed  in a landslide that struck their camp at Phamla village, six km off Tawang town of the district.
