Solan, Feb 18 (UNI) The Police arrested two Kashmiri students on the charges of imputations and assertions prejudicial to national integration on the campus of Dr Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (UHF), Nauni, on Monday.

Earlier, the duo identified as Pirzada Tabish and Aakib Usul were detained for questioning after their objectionable comments on the post of a Facebook website of Kashmiri militants, on Sunday evening.

With these two arrests, the total arrests have gone up to three. Earlier, a student of Kashmir, Tushan Gul studying at the Chitkara University, Kalujhanda near Baddi of Solan district, was arrested.

The police have booked them under Section 153-B of the IPC and started investigation in the case by collecting needed evidences after seizing their mobile phones and computers.

The police officials are tight-lipped to provide details of the case as it is related to the Pulwama’s terror attack in which over 42 persons, including 40 CRPF personnel were martyred.

Reliable sources in police revealed that the police have collected some vital information from their laptops and the mobile phones of the two students for having posted several messages in support of the terror attack and anti-India comments on social media.

The complaint against two Kashmiri students was made by a UHF student. After ascertaining that the accused had posted anti-India slogans etc, the police arrested them on Monday. Further investigation was in progress.
