Two injured in Srinagar grenade blast

Srinagar, May 18 (IBNS): A policeman and a civilian were injured when suspected militants hurled grenade on police station in Safa Kadal area of downtown Srinagar on Thursday.

According to reports, militants tossed hand grenade on police station in Safa Kadal area which blasted outside the station resulting in injuring a cop and civilian

Officials said that special police officer Samir Ahmad and civilian Arif Ahmad were injured in the incident. Both injured were shifted to the police control room hospital for advanced treatment.

Soon after the incident, police and CRPF cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.
