Two engineers die in landslide near hydo electric project site in Kishtwar

Jammu, Feb 23 (UNI/IBNS) : Two engineers have died after they got buried under the debris when a landslide hit at hydro electric project site in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Landslide occurred late on Friday night at Pakal Hydro Electric Project at Kishtwar in which two engineers of JP Company were buried," police spokesman here said.

He said that police and other persons at the site immediately evacuated the bodies.

The deceased engineers were identified as Gurmeet Singh of Jammu and Vijay Kumar of Udhampur.

"The bodies were being shifted to their native places," said the spokesman.
