Two-day Startup India Summit begins in UAE

Dubai, May 23 (IBNS): Startup India is a flagship programme of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it is our endeavour to promote it in UAE, said Indian Ambassador to UAE, Navdeep Suri at the inauguration of the two-day Startup India Seminar in Dubai on Tuesday, according to media reports.

The Startup India Summit, the first of its kind to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)  ha been organised by the Consul General of India (CGI) in Dubai and Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi in partnership with iSPIRIT, a nonprofit think tank and supported by TiE, Dubai.

Seventeen Indian startup companies from areas of Artificial Intelligence, Financial Technology or Fintech, Digi Medicine, Health care Technology, Innovative Technology and Software as Service (SaaS) are participating in the Seminar.

The aim is to provide platform for startup up eco-system in India  and the UAE for greater collaboration, the media quoted the organisers as saying.
