Kolkata, Jan 7 (IBNS): The two-day 'Bengal Global Business Summit, 2015' will kick-start in Kolkata on Wednesday. The investment extravaganza would be attended by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari.

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee will also be there with a host of industrialists at the session.

Sources said the flagship summit will have 500-strong delegation from India and aboard.

Delegations from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, the US and Australia are also expected to participate in the business meet.

The Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress state is using the ‘Bengal Global Business Summit’ platform to showcase state as a thriving investment destination for industry captains coming from different corners.

The event is expected to prepare an industrial blueprint that will explore new possibilities of creating a resurgent Bengal.
