New Delhi/IBNS: Three out of four in a family were found dead at their home in south Delhi's Neb Sarai on Wednesday morning, media reports said.

Rajesh, 53, his wife Komal (47) and their 23-year-old daughter Kavita were allegedly stabbed to death at their home.

The couple's son survived as he was out on a morning walk at around 5 am.

Upon returning home, he discovered his parents and sister being allegedly stabbed to death.

Police have launched an investigation into the murder.

A neighbour had reached out upon hearing a noise from the house.

Slamming the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Centre which controls law and order in the national capital, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said, "There was a triple murder in Neb Sarai this morning. Murders are happening in broad daylight in Delhi, bullets are being fired, drugs are being sold openly."

"The central government has only one responsibility in Delhi - to provide security to the people of Delhi. They have completely failed in their responsibility."
