Trains collide near Gorakhpur in UP

Gorakhpur, Sept 30 (IBNS) One person was feared dead and several others were injured in a collision between two trains near Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday night, said reports.

According to media reports, the collision occurred between two passenger trains amid fears that the death toll might rise. 

 
Rescue operation is on. 
 
Reports said the trains which collided were Krishak Express, bound to Gorakhpur from Varanasi and Barauni Express, which was going from Lucknow to Barauni.
 
Railway is yet to confirm any death though some media reports put the toll between one and three.
