Kolkata/IBNS: Consolidating its position, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress (TMC) is set for a huge victory in all four seats which went to bypolls last Saturday.

TMC candidate Udayan Guha has won from Dinhata constituency by a mammoth margin of over 1.63 lakh votes.

In Gosaba, TMC candidate Subrata Mondal is leading by over 1,41,000 votes.

In Khardah, West Bengal Minister and TMC candidate, Shobhandeb Chattopadhyay, is ahead of his nearest candidate by over 76,000 votes.

In Santipur, TMC candidate Braja Kishor Goswami is leading by over 37,000 votes.

The bypolls took place in Gosaba and Khardah due to the demise of winning TMC candidates.

In Dinhata and Shantipur, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s MLA-elects- Lok Sabha MPs Nisith Pramanik and Jagannat Sarkar respectively- had resigned vacating the seats.

Reacting to her party's performance, Mamata tweeted, "My heartiest congratulations to all the four winning candidates! This victory is people's victory, as it shows how Bengal will always choose development and unity over propaganda and hate politics. With people's blessings, we promise to continue taking Bengal to greater heights!"
