Kolkata, Jan 9 (IBNS): After expelling Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP from Bishnupur Lok Sabha constituency- Soumitra Khan, who has already joined the BJP, West Bengal's ruling party on Wednesday threw out its another Lok Sabha MP from Bolpur constituency, Anupam Hazra for his alleged anti-party activities.

Party's secretary general Partha Chatterjee in the evening announced to expel both the MPs from the party.

Earlier in the late afternoon, alleging that there's a Hitler rule is going on in West Bengal, MP Soumitra Khan joined BJP in New Delhi.

Khan has been a TMC Lok Sabha MP from Bishnupur.

He joined BJP in the presence of party leader Mukul Roy.

Roy was himself a TMC leader in the past.

Soon after joining BJP, Khan has attacked Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee by equating her to German dictator Adolf Hitler.

Without naming her, Khan was quoted as saying by India Today: "There's a Hitler rule going on in West Bengal."

"People are not allowed to vote during polls. Such is the state of affairs," he said.

"Many more from TMC will follow suit," he said.

The move comes at a time when the country is gearing up for the Lok Sabha polls.
