Three-time Congress MP Arvind Sharma joins BJP

New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI): Three-time Congress MP from Karnal, Arvind Sharma joined the BJP in presence of Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday.

''I have listened to the voice of my soul and have joined the BJP and I am proud of this. I'll do whatever work party assigns to me,'' he said after joining the BJP at party headquarters.

Sharma said he had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah and he was proud to join the saffron party.

At present Ashwini Kumar is the BJP MP from Karnal constituency in the 16th Lok Sabha.

On Thursday, Tom Vadakkan, a former close aide of Sonia Gandhi, has joined the BJP.
