Three persons injured as massive landslide hits Arunachal Pradesh

Guwahati, July 17 (IBNS): At least three persons were injured and one is feared to be trapped in a massive landslide along the NH-415, between the Gohpur-Tinali trijunction near Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday.

Incessant rains have wrecked havoc in Arunachal Pradesh, causing the massive landslide.

Many vehicles were damaged in the landslide and blocked of road communication in the National Highway.

Following the incident, the rescue teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), police have rushed to the area and engaged in rescue operations with the help of local people.

The teams have rescued three persons with serious conditions and another is feared to be trapped with his motorcycle.

The injured persons have rushed to hospital.
