Three more detained by NIA for links with Dawood Ibrahim

Mumbai: Three more persons, including trustee of internationally famous Haji Ali Dargha Sohail Khandwani, was detained by NIA during raids on the various locations in Mumbai linked to gangster Dawood Ibrahim's associates.

In the morning, the agency detained one Salim Fruit who is an associate of Dawood Ibrahim and the agency has seized some important documents.

Khandwani is one of the business partners of NCP leader Nawab Malik who is presently in jail and facing charges of money laundering in a land transaction owned by family members of Dawood.

A person namely Kayyum in the Mahim area has also been detained by the NIA.

Another suspected person Sameer Angora from Delite Apartments in Bandra area was also detained by NIA.
