Guwahati, Dec 7 (IBNS) : At least three militants of Karbi People's Liberation Tiger (KPLT) were killed in a clash between two factions within the outfit, in Assam's Karbi Anglong district on Wednesday morning, police said.

The incident  took place at Samelangso area under Dokmoka police station in  the hill district.

"The firing incident happened between the pro-ceasefire group of KPLT and the anti-talk faction," a senior police official said.

A top militant of the anti-talk faction, identified as Chandra Rongpi, and his two associates, were killed in the firing.
