Three civilians killed in Pak border firing in Jammu

Jammu, Aug 28 (IBNS) Three civilians have been killed and 16 others are injured in heavy firing by Pakistani rangers along the international border in Jammu's RS Pura sector since early Friday, reports said.

Pakistani forces fired from small arms and mortars on  several posts.

On Tuesday, a Junior Commissioned Officer of the Indian  Army  was killed in Pakistani firing in the Nowgam sector.

Five civilians, including a minor, were killed on August 15 as Pakistani troops fired.

There have been 51 ceasefire violations by Pakistan alone in August  and more than 245 violations this year so far.
