Three arrested in firing incident

Jammu, Mar 16 (UNI) Police on Saturday arrested three persons in connection with the Friday night firing incident here.

Police spokesman said that in the late hours on Friday, it was reported that four persons, who were on their way out from the bar at Hari Niwas, fired gun shots in air outside hotel and thereafter fled from the spot in an SUV and a motor cycle.


A case was registered in this connection.


A police party worked on different leads, tracked and arrested three of the accused, namely, Ishant Raina, S/o Omkarnath Raina, R/o F-301 Opposite DC office, Wazarat Road, Vivek Singh, S/o Harbans Raj, R/o Hazoori Bagh, Talab Tillo and Manik Nayat, S/o Raj Kumar, R/o Bari Brahmana. The search for the fourth accused is currently underway, said the spokesman.
