Aurangabad/UNI: Thousands of employees of various power organizations from MSEDCL, Mahapareshan and Mahanirmiti across Maharashtra joined the two-day strike on Monday.

State Energy Minister Nitin Raut called an urgent video conference on Monday to resolve the two-day strike called by power workers for various demands.

In the said meeting, the unions demanded that a written agreement be reached by discussing the demand before Tuesday.

However, as no solution was reached in the meeting, the power workers decided that the strike would continue till tomorrow.

The discussion will be held in Mumbai tomorrow, said Raut. Meanwhile, the stir, called by power workers, engineers, officers of the Joint Struggle Committee and the Maharashtra State Electricity Contract Workers Union Action Committee, received a spontaneous response today across Maharashtra.
