Third Chinese activist denied visa by Indian government
New Delhi, Apr 28 (IBNS) After revoking visa for Uyghur leader Dolkun Isa and Lu Jinghua, a well-known Tiananmen activist, the Indian government has reportedly denied visa to a third activist, Ray Wong of Hong Kong, according to media reports.
Lu, an American citizen, Isa, a German citizen, and other prominent Chinese dissidents had been invited to an April 28 meeting in Dharamsala organised by the United States-based Initiatives for China.
India's action in revoking Dolkun Isa's visa was taken after China was livid over allowing his entry. The Narendra Modi government, however, denied any Chinese pressure behind its backtrack.
