There is no good and bad terrorism, treat all forms equally: PM Modi tells UN

San Jose, Sept 28 (IBNS) Describing terrorism as one of the biggest threats to the world, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged the United Nations to take a clear stand on it and treat all forms of terrorism on the same plain.

"If it has taken the UN 15 years to define terrorism, how many years will they take to fight it?" he said, while addressing a large gathering of the Indian diaspora at the SAP Centre in San Jose.

"They can't distinguish between good terrorism and bad terrorism in our world...but that is not true. Terrorism is terrorism," the PM said.

"We have to save the 21st century from being destroyed by terrorism. I have said this to the UN. I am going again tomorrow, and I will tell them again tomorrow," Modi said.

The reception at San Jose marked the end of PM Modi's two day visit to the Silicon Valley during  his second visit to the US.
