Terrorism is incubated in India's neighbourhood: PM Modi to US Congress
Washington, Jun 8 (IBNS): Addressing the US Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday attacked Pakistan saying that terrorism is incubated in India's neighbourhood.
"Although it's shadow is spread'g across the world, terrorism is incubated in India's neighbourhood," said Modi.
"Globally, terrorism remains the biggest threat, going by different names, but with the common philosophy of hate, murder and violence," the Indian PM.
He said that "Humanity must speak in one voice. Terrorism must be delegitimized."
The Indian PM spoke of actions beyond our shores, both alone and together, for disaster relief, environmental protection, and conflict resolution.
Amid standing ovations given to him by the members, he also mentioned the deep relationship shared between India and the US and the fields where both the nations could expand their bond.
Modi is currently visiting the US.
