Teenager raped in Uttar Pradesh

Sitapur, June 16 (IBNS): A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped at Sitapur town in Uttar Pradesh, reports said on Monday.

The incident took place on June 12 in Reosa area.

According to reports, the girl has gone to a relative's house when the accused, in his mid 30s, locked her in a room and allegedly raped her.

The man also reportedly gave life threat to the girl in case she disclosed the incident to anyone.

The victim filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the Reosa police station on Sunday.
