Teen set ablaze for resisting rape, dies

Indore, May 11 (IBNS): A 19-year-old girl breathed her last on Sunday after she was allegedly set on fire by three of her college-mates for resisting rape, reports said.
She was admitted at an Indore Hospital after the incident happened on Saturday.
 
According to the police, the pharmacy student's three college-mates paid her a visit at her residence.
 
When they realised she was alone at home, they allegedly tried to rape her.
 
When the victim resisted, they allegedly set her ablaze.
 
She suffered 97 per cent burns and was rushed to the hospital for treatment, reports said.
 
The three accused have been arrested. 
 
The body of the victim has been sent for a post-mortem to ascertain if she was raped.
