Teacher thrown from running train, dies

Nawada, Sep 6 (UNI) Unidentified criminals threw a teacher from a running train resulting in his death when the latter resisted their loot bid near Wazirganj on Kiul-Gaya section of East Central railway in the district late last night.

Police said here today that around five outlaws threw the teacher Ritesh Kumar from Ramput Hat passenger train when he resisted their attempt to loot his valuables by making his child hostage.

Sources said Kumar, a native of Siswa village under Town police station area in Nawada district along with his family was going to Sasaram when he became victim of outlaws.

Police said, Kumar who was seriously injured in the incident was admitted to a local hospital where he died during treatment. The body had been sent for autopsy.
