Tashkent: Narendra Modi pays floral tribute to Lal Bahadur Shastri

Tashkent, June 24 (IBNS): India Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid homage to former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri here.

Visiting Tashkent, Modi paid floral tribute at the bust of Shastri.

MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted: "Paying homage to a great son of India. PM @narendramodi offers flowers at the bust of former PM Shastri."

Modi also met the Uzbek sculptor of former PM Shastri's bust Yaakov Shapiro.
