Coimbatore/IBNS: A girl was allegedly raped by six men in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore while returning home after celebrating her birthday, media reports said.

Police said on Saturday that the four out of the six accused have been caught.

The girl, a student of class 11, was getting back home with her friend at around 9 pm last Tuesday when a group of men accosted them. They beat up her friend and dragged her to a secluded place, where they raped her and made a video of the crime, police said.

The girl told her mother about the incident, the next day and they lodged a complaint with the police.

The police swung into action immediately and arrested four accused. A massive manhunt is on to arrest the other accused, police added.
