Tamil Nadu govt hikes consolidated pay for SC/ST temporary teachers

Chennai/UNI: The Tamil Nadu government today announced a hike in consolidated pay of temporary SC/ST teachers in the state.

A government order issued to this effect said the consolidated pay for intermediate teachers has been fixed at Rs 12,000, while the Post Graduate teachers would receive Rs 18,000.

The SC/ST teachers' consolidated pay has been hiked to Rs 15,000.

The government also has announced hike slabs of other categories of temporary teachers.
