Patna, Nov 28 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): Police in Bihar have arrested a suspected smuggler involved in smuggle of human skulls and skeletons.

The suspected smuggler identified as Sanjay Prasad was arrested from Balia-Sealdah Express at Chapra railway station in Saran district on Tuesday.

Police believe the recovered human skulls and skeletons were being smuggled to China via Bhutan.

During the search, the police also recovered Nepal and Bhutan currencies from the alleged smuggler which make them believe he could be a part of the international gang of smugglers.

The police also recovered many ATM cards and SIM cards with Nepal mobile phone numbers from his possession.

“The man is being interrogated and his phone contacts being scanned,” a Sonepur deputy superintendent of police (rail) Mohammad Tanvir was quoted as saying in Hindustan Times on Wednesday.

Police said the skeletons are very high in demand among medical students although they were trying to find out the exact reason of their smuggling.
